A man has had his car impounded, after he was caught doing a burnout in front of police near Port Pirie.
Police were on Hill View Drive in Coonamia on Tuesday afternoon when they saw a Holden Commodore do the manoeuvre in front of them.
The Commodore was stopped, where they reported a 30-year-old Solomontown man for misuse of a motor vehicle.

His car has been impounded for 28 days, and he is expected to face Port Pirie Magistrates Court at a later date.
