A brand new rescue boat is on its way to the Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol on the Yorke Peninsula.
The state-of-the-art vessel will replace the group’s 50-year-old boat at Point Turton, according to reports in The Transcontinental.
The State Government invested $555,000 into the high-tech boat, which includes improved safety, navigation and response technology.

The new boat is expected to be delivered by mid-2026.
