A customer has bitten off more than she could chew, allegedly attacking a worker at a Hungry Jacks in Port Augusta.
Police and emergency services responding to reports of an assault at a local servo on the Augusta Highway just before 1am on Sunday.
A 28-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by the female customer, sustaining injuries including several deep bite marks to his arm and back and multiple lacerations to his face.
A 38-year-old local woman was arrested and charged with assault cause harm, throw missile and disorderly behaviour.
She was bailed to appear in the Port Augusta Magistrates Court on 17 November.
