The Balaklava Swimming Pool remains closed after an electrical incident forced the evacuation of more than 400 students during a school swimming carnival on Friday.
Concerns were raised when contractors detected a possible low‑voltage electrical current in or around the pool, prompting staff to immediately clear the area.
Several students later reported feeling faint or experiencing shock‑like symptoms, though no serious injuries have been confirmed.
Council staff, Belgravia Leisure, SA Power Networks and SafeWork SA have been working across the weekend to identify the source of the issue and ensure the site is safe.
At this stage, authorities say there is no confirmed date for the pool to reopen, and investigations remain ongoing.
