Musician based biopics seem to be all the rage the last decade, from Rocketman, to Bohemian Rhapsody, to all four members of the Beatles getting their own biopic film, it’s less when but more who’s next. Well it seems that Universal Pictures is looking to make a biopic on the 80’s & 90’s icon Bon Jovi. The band is responsible for classic rock anthems including Livin’ on a Prayer, It’s My Life, Wanted Dead or Alive, and You Give Love a Bad Name.
The band’s story starts in New Jersey of 1983, when the band was founded in Sayreville. In 1984 the band released their debut album named Bon Jovi and it’s single “Runaway” which reached the Top 40 on the Billboard Hit 100.
Currently, the screenplay is being written by Cody Brotter, but a director has not yet been decided. No casting news has also been announced. But what should the film be called? It’s Our Life? Livin’ on a Prayer?
