Zendaya has redefined the entire concept of a premiere… again! At the New York City debut of Christopher Nolan’s latest project, The Odyssey, held this past Tuesday, the 29-year-old actress managed to stop time (and traffic) with an ensemble that felt like a celestial event.
Stepping onto the carpet, Zendaya opted for a plunging white strapless gown designed by Matières Fécale. The structure of the dress was impeccable, but the true focal point, and the element that had photographers scrambling, were the intricate, feathered wings cascading from the back of the garment. What is perhaps most impressive about Zendaya’s sartorial choices is the level of foresight involved. The Euphoria star noted that this specific look was far from a last-minute decision. Her longtime creative partner and stylist, Law Roach, had apparently earmarked the piece for her years ago.
