Whyalla Go Kart Club Festival State Cup

Whyalla Go Kart Clubs biggest event of the year!

Racing kicks off from 12:00PM Saturday 25th of April, before we take it under lights Saturday night making for an awesome atmosphere and something a bit different!

There are 84 of S.A most talented karters entered to race in Whyalla (plus family members, racing teams and supporters who will also travel) which include some local racers from Whyalla and Port Lincoln and as far as Mt Gambier, Mildura and Swan Reach (across the border) all competing for a podium finish.

Competitors are a mixture of boys and girls, with karting being one of the only sports where boys and girls compete together against one another on an even playing field and are aged as young as 10 to 70+ years old.

Spectators can get up and close in the pits and chat to some of the racers. It’s a real community event in a serious sport.
