The Ardrossan Jetty will temporarily close from late August 2025 for around six months as part of a major upgrade.
The Jetty Pile Replacement Project will see ageing piles and structural components replaced to ensure the long-term safety and use of the local landmark.
While the closure comes at a challenging time – particularly amid the ongoing algal bloom – the Yorke Peninsula Council thanked the community for its patience and assured local businesses of continued support during the works.
Access to the top carpark and toilet facilities will remain open throughout the project, however the road to the jetty will be closed at the top carpark entrance.
Once complete, the renewed jetty will continue to play a vital role in recreation, tourism, and Ardrossan’s broader appeal as a coastal destination.
The Council will provide as the project progresses.
