The Edithburgh Tidal Pool has been closed until further notice following recent storm activity and coastal conditions.
The Yorke Peninsula Council announced the temporary closure after storms and high tides washed rocks into the popular swimming spot. The site has also been impacted by the harmful algal bloom currently affecting parts of South Australia’s coastline.
The combined damage and poor water quality have made the pool unsafe and unsuitable for public use.

Council is monitoring the situation and working to restore the area as soon as conditions allow.
