The Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board are celebrating seeing results after 4 years of work to restore and protect the EP’s vital salt marsh ecosystem.
Last month, the Saltmarsh Threat Abatement and Recovery Project finished up along with on-ground works on more than 7,500 hectares of saltmarsh.
Interventions included debris and weed removal, access control, revegetation, and rabbit control.
Their hard work is evident with the samphire plants growing in the salt marsh near Whyalla.
