Police are appealing for witnesses following a break-in at a Port Augusta school, where a large amount of gardening equipment was stolen.
The incident occurred between Friday, 23 January and Tuesday, 27 January, when entry was gained to an equipment shed at a school on Chinnery Street, Port Augusta West. A significant number of tools, garden equipment, and other items were taken.
Investigators believe a vehicle was used to load the stolen items and may have accessed the school grounds via Butler Crescent. Police are urging anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area during that period to come forward.
Port Augusta officers are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may know the whereabouts of the stolen equipment or has information about the people involved.
