The number of nurses and care workers in the Yorke and Mid-North region is deteriorating.
According to the Federal Government’s NERO analysis which looks at employment for each region, a drop of 18 percent has been recorded locally across the last five years.
In June 2019 there were about 520 nurses and personal-care workers in the region, and currently there’s about 430.
