A man has been arrested for for eight offences in Whyalla
Late Sunday night, Police were attending an unrelated matter on Elliot Street when they saw a motorbike travelling at speed towards them on the wrong side of the road.
The driver attempted to self-correct the motorcycle onto the right side of the road when he has fallen off and attempted to run away from Police.
Police found the man in possession of gloves, bolt cutters, wire cutters, a hammer and had a small amount of drugs in his possession. Police checks also identified the man did not have a licence and the motorcycle was found to be unregistered and uninsured.
The 31-year-old man from Whyalla was arrested for 8 separate offences including, possessing a housebreaking implement and carrying an offensive weapon.
He was granted bail and is due to appear in the Whyalla Magistrates Court in August
