Regional Event Fund Backs Nine Festivals Across the Region

It’s a packed calendar of festivals on the way for our region, thanks to support from the State’s Regional Event Fund.

Nine local events received funding – including Grounded YP Art Festival, FLAME Festival and the Saltwater Classic on the Yorke Peninsula.

Funding will also go to Cuttlefest in Whyalla, Flinders Ranges’ A Brush with Art, the Laura Fair and Coober Pedy Opal Festival.

Meanwhile in the Clare Valley, the Festival of the Lamb and Clare Valley Gourmet Week also received grant funding.

Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison said the events are key to encouraging travellers to stay longer in our tourism regions, and help put dollars into the pockets of local businesses.
