The results are in from the weekend’s SA country footy champs in Victor Harbor…
The grand final played out yesterday with the YP’s Central Zone going down at the hand of defending champions Eastern, by 36-points.
It was a similar story for the women’s comp, with Central again falling just short and Eastern taking home the trophy.
Former Port Adelaide rookie Yohann Wagner, who represented the Eyre Peninsula took home the Leading Goal Kicker trophy.
The event attracted its largest crowd with almost 6000 turning out to watch across Saturday and Sunday, while a solid 1200 strong crowd watched on as the EP sides kicked off the comp.
The EP side came in third overall, while Northern didn’t manage a win and came in last in this year’s standings.
