Regional South Australian residents are being urged to plan ahead and not wait for the power to go out this summer.
SA Power Networks has launched their ‘Don’t Wait for Summer’ campaign, highlighting the year round impacts of extreme weather on the electricity network.
Cecilia Schutz from SA Power Networks said extreme weather is not confined to specific seasons and that South Australia’s electricity network is likely to be impacted by changes to extreme weather patterns.

The company is working year-round to reduce outages by inspecting poles and wires, trimming trees in high-risk areas, and addressing potential issues before they arise.
