Senior citizens are being warned about a scam affecting locals in our regions.
The misleading website, seniorscardportal, claims to be ‘officially approved’ and charges applicants a fee of $29 to coordinate the application process.
Those looking to get a card should be aware they are free of charge and applicants should not disclose bank information in exchange for membership.
