Port Broughton’s Skate Park Leagues event is making its long-awaited return this November.
Supported by the Barunga West Council and YMCA Action Sports, the two day event includes a Learn to Skate session and creative deck design workshop, as well as competitions for scooters, BMX and skateboards.
Mayor Leonie Kerley said the return of the event highlights the Council’s commitment to providing opportunities for young people.

“The first weekend in November will be a chance for families to enjoy a great community event while celebrating the creativity and talent of our local young people,” she said.
The event returns on November 1 and 2 after a four-year hiatus, with registrations open via the Skate Park Leagues website.
