The Kernewek Lowender Copper Coast Cornish Festival Begins today running till Sunday
The yearly event takes place in Wallaroo, Moonta, and Kadina.
Celebrating the area’s rich Cornish heritage, the festival draws approximately 45,000 visitors each year, who join the local community in the week-long festivities.
This year marks the events 50th anniversary with a highlights including The Cavalcade of Cars & Motorcycles with over 500 vintage cars and motorcycles, the ancient Gathering of the Bards ceremony ande the Dressing of the Graves, which sees ancestors honoured at local cemeteries.
