The Port Augusta City Council is taking proactive steps to ensure the reopening of the Ryan Mitchell Swim Centre.
Following an unsuccessful second round of recruitment efforts, the Council have tendered for a managed service provider to operate the facility, with the responses currently under review.
The appointment of a service provider is imminent, marking a significant milestone toward reopening.
They are optimistic about a potential reopening date, expected sometime in November.
The Council says they appreciate the community’s patience and understanding during this transitional period.
