An update has been confirmed for the joint CFS/SES facility for Maitland.
Member for Narungga Fraser Ellis MP said he sought an update on plans for the facility n question time.
Minister for Police and Emergency Services Joe Szakacs confirmed the long-awaited project is at final report and costing stage, with SAFECOM currently engaging with the Department of Infrastructure and Transport to finalise engineering plans.

The facility has been confirmed as a $4.6 million project, with early works projected to start in June 2024.
