Christmas has come early for a Wallaroo couple, who bagged $880,000 in Saturday’s X Lotto draw.
The Yorke Peninsula residents held one of the seven division one winning entries.
It was a bit of a journey to get hold of the couple, who hadn’t registered their ticket and were initially unable to be contacted until they came forward.

The winning husband told The Lott the prize was great timing, making for a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
The winning ticket was purchased from Wallaroo Newsagency.
