Whyalla Police detected a high range drink driver earlier this week.
Police stopped a vehicle on McDouall Stuart Avenue in Whyalla Stuart on Wednesday.
Police checks revealed the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured.

The driver, a 34-year-old man, who has never held a licence, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.290.
An inspection of the man’s vehicle revealed numerous defects, including a broken driver’s seat and inoperable seatbelts.
The driver was reported for drink driving and driving unlicensed among others.
He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
