The Clare Valley’s annual ‘Festival of the Lamb’ program will launch tomorrow in honour of the new season lamb.
The festival will run over 7 days and celebrates not only lamb but also the first buds of local vines as well as a range of activities, meals and tours for attendees.
The program kicks off tomorrow night, with an open-air cinema screening of 1975 feature film ‘Sunday Too Far Away’, which was filmed just north of the Clare Valley.
With the focus of the festival being lamb, several hotels and restaurants from Mintaro, Sevenhill, Watervale and Auburn will feature lamb inspired menus matched with local wines.
