Four Port Augusta teenagers have faced court after being arrested for two separate incidents.
The first incident involved two teenage boys who allegedly stole a car and set it alight.
Police were called to the dry Salt Lake next to Tassie Street after reports of a car on fire. The fire was extinguished, but the stolen car was left extensively damaged.
Following an investigation, a 17-year-old boy from Whyalla and a 15-year-old boy from Port Augusta were arrested and charged with multiple offences.
The second incident involved two girls who allegedly broke into multiple homes in Port Augusta.
Police were called to Thelma Street after reports of two girls in the victim’s rear yard. Police then searched the area and located the girls close by.
Following an investigation police discovered homes had been broken into on Douglas Street and Colac Avenue.
Both girls aged 14 from Port Augusta were arrested and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and theft.
All four teenagers were refused police bail, appeared in court and have been remanded until their next court appearances.
