More roads are set to be resealed in Whyalla over the coming months in an effort to improve road safety in local tourist locations.
The Unsealed Roads Program has been continued and is currently focusing on areas near Point Lowly and Douglas Point.
This week re-sheeting and widening of 150 metres of Cuttlefish Drive will commence, starting at the southern entrance.
Following the completion of this section, works will move to Gulf View Drive, where approximately 1km of road will be re-sheeted.
Council are urging motorists to slow down and be aware of changed road conditions.
Mobile equipment will also be in place throughout the works, which will continue over the next 8 weeks.
