13-year-old Logan Good has been found alive and well after being lost overnight in the Mount Remarkable National Park. Logan was hiking with his family when he wandered off not far from the Alligator Gorge car park. His mother alerted the authorities at 6:30pm on Wednesday the 6th of January soon after they lost contact.
A search including Police, SES, CFS and PolAir began and continued into the early hours this morning with no success of locating Logan. The Police and SES remained at the scene until morning when the search resumed.
At 1:15pm, Thursday 7th of January, Logan was found after knocking on the door of a remote National Park cabin to ask for help. ‘Lucky Logan’ spent approximately 19 hours alone in the national park and survived without a scratch.
