People of all walks of life need blood products. Some need it to get them through a serious event in their lives, like cancer or a difficult pregnancy. Others have medical conditions which mean they need blood products regularly to stay alive or be healthy.
Every day more than 5,000 Australians give blood at a Lifeblood donor centre. It's your chance to relax, enjoy a free snack – and feel great knowing that you're saving lives.
If you’re between the ages of 18-76, healthy and weigh over 50kgs you may be eligible to donate blood.
