Yorke Peninsula’s Lachie Jones, is hoping to make it two from two for his AFL career so far, after debuting with Port Adelaide last weekend.
Having picked up a premiership with West Torrens in the SANFL last year, Jones has now made it to the big time at Alberton.
The 19-year-old’s first match was a nail-biter against Richmond at home, with his efforts on the field resulting in notable debut stats including 17 disposals and 6 marks.
Port Adelaide take on Carlton this Saturday at the MCG from 6.55pm.
Lachie Jones: "I felt like it was a reasonable debut performance. Obviously made some mistakes but that's probably given for a first game, but it's all a part of the stepping stones for the season so I look forward to more opportunities to come."
