Preparation works for the construction of the shared-use path as part of the Joy Baluch Bridge duplication project, will begin tomorrow.
In order to safely undertake works on the embankment of the Augusta Highway, Langsford Street will be closed between Jervois Street and Langsford Street for approximately 8 weeks, with temporary restrictions put in place from 7am tomorrow (September 25).
Works will be undertaken seven days a week, on Monday to Saturday from 7am to 7pm and on Sundays between 9am and 5pm.
Works will include earthworks, stormwater installation, piling, installing retaining walls, kerb and gutter construction and asphalting.
Residential and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
