Speedway racing returns to Whyalla this Saturday night with an action-packed program to suit all speedway fans.

Round two of the Unearth Whyalla 410 Sprintcar Championship will feature sprintcars, street stocks V6 sprints, classic stockcars and the evnings action will conclude with a demolition derby.

At the last meeting the club presented a life membership to committee member Travis Litterini, who has given more than 20 years of service to speedway in Whyalla.

Also tomorrow, the third instalment of the Port Pirie Punk Show comes to Phoenix Park trotting track.

Live music from 11 SA bands, supported by local businesses, will be played from 2pm-12am, with this outdoor event sporting something for all ages

This year’s Garage Sale Trail returns for its second weekend, across both tomorrow and Sunday.

The event will be held in local yards, and has been powered by both the Yorke Peninsula Council and Whyalla City Council.

The national festival encourages residents to sell, shop and learn about the circular economy.
