The AEC has alerted residents across Grey that some areas have faced difficulties with recruiting staff to man the polling sites, which may lead to some of the planned polling places being unable to open on Election Day.
Electoral Commissioner Tom Rogers says most polling places will be in operation for the Federal Election, but some are at risk.
Locations that could be affected includes, Georgetown, Hawker, Lochiel, Alford, Arthurton, Maitland, Orroroo, Port Augusta East, Port Pirie, Watervale, and Whyalla.
There is still time to register to staff the struggling locations so that polling places can open tomorrow.
