The Port Pirie Regional Council have issued a reminder for residents, that Council does not offer hard waste collection from the kerb.
Several instances of waste being found on the side of the road have been reported in recent weeks.
Council offers two free hard waste disposal days per year, at both the Port Pirie and Crystal Brook Waste Transfer Stations.
If you do wish to give items away for free, items are to be placed within your property rather than on the footpath or road, as this can make it difficult for pedestrians to access the footpath, and is considered illegal dumping.
The next free hard waste disposal day will be held on August 7.
