Congratulations are in order for two local rural doctors, who have been recognised for their commitment to the Mid-North.
Dr Daryl Burford has been serving the community in Mallala for 35-years and has recently been awarded with has been awarded with a Rural Doctor’s Workforce Agency (RDWA) long service award.
And Jamestown’s Dr Rowena Conway has also been awarded for her service, with a 25-year medal.
The Rural Doctors Workforce Agency long service awards are a formal celebration of the achievements and dedication of GPs in regional South Australia.
The doctors were presented with their medals by Minister for Health and Wellbeing, Chris Picton, and RDWA chair, Dr Michael Beckoff.
