EP and YP residents will soon benefit from new local-led projects, funded through a new Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal grants round.
Over $775-thousand will go towards sixty-seven projects across regional Australia, through the new round of the foundation's Strengthening Rural Communities program.
$10,000 will be given to the Port Vincent Progress Association as part of the bushfire recovery section of the fund, and will go towards upgrading the the projector and sound system at the Port Vincent Institute Hall.
Another $8,500 will go towards the Fat Farmers: Rural Health Initiative, to enhance physical and mental health in the Eyre Peninsula by promoting a community fitness group.
