Getting Wakefield’s roads sealed is at the top of the to-do-list by local council.
They’ve just undertaken research on what roads should be sealed-judging by the number of houses, traffic flow and connectivity on them-and the end result is what’s set to be a large-scale operation.
Wakefield Mayor Rodney Reid-says because there’s a fair bit on the list to do, and because it can be so expensive, council will have to stagger the approach to ensure they can manage their expenditure.
Wakefield CEO Jason Kuchel meanwhile expects the program should start rolling out from the middle of next year.
