Peterborough Shearer Russell Sleep made a marathon effort over the weekend shearing a huge amount of sheep non-stop for 24 hours.
Mr Sleep shore a staggering 456 sheep over the 24 hour time period without taking a break all to raise money for the children’s cancer charity Camp Quality.
Throughout the event a total of $850 has been raised through the donations page.
The event was a success with Mr Sleeps 89-year-old grandfather picking up the shears and shearing with his grandson.
The Jamestown Show Society were the supporting partner for Mr Sleep’s Shear-A-Thon and helped raise $285 for him to shear a persons head.
