Snowtown has been left reeling after a super storm smashed through the Mid North over the weekend leaving extensive damage in its wake.
Damage is still being assessed in the town with the clean up expected to take several days.
The Snowtown Football Club sustained significant damage, losing the roof to the newly opened pavilion.
Wind gusts were recorded at over 160km/h, ripping off roofs and toppling trees across the area.
On Sunday morning, 4000 properties were still without power with outages reported in the Far North, Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Eyre Peninsula with power restored by Monday.
The severe weather across the weekend sparked a major fire in Minlaton on the YP where more than 100 CFS Firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control.
