Free Trees for Copper Coast Locals

gardening-331986_960_720.jpgThe Copper Coast Council will give out free native shrubs to locals as a part of their Green Up initiative this weekend.

Council gives ratepayers the opportunity to receive up to 2 plants for free from a selection of trees, grasses and shrubs on receipt of their rates notices.

This year’s free tree day will be held Sunday the 26th of May at Moonta, Wallaroo and Kadina Town Halls.

The Barunga West Council is also holding its annual tree allocation day this week.

Locals who are interested are encouraged to register at the Bute or Port Broughton Council Offices.


The Copper Coasts free tree day will be on the 26th of May between 10.00am and 1.00pm.

Port Broughton - Wednesday, 22nd May 2019 between the times of 8am and 12pm.

Bute -  Thursday, 23rd May 2019 between the times of 8am and 12pm.
