RAA Calling for Investment for Regional Highways

road.JPGRAA is calling on the state government to use next month’s budget to invest in key transport corridor upgrades in regional areas as well as road safety education.

The state’s largest mobility association has identified key priorities worth around $40 million to save lives, raise living standards and improve transport efficiency.

Their key priorities for the 2019-2020 State Budget include the construction of four overtaking lanes, road widening and mitigating roadside hazards on Horrocks Highway and upgrades to the Lincoln Highway.

The RAA says the projects they’ve earmarked for funding will help reduce the carnage on our roads.
