The Uniting Country SA developed their first Reconciliation Action Plan, or RAP, in 2014 and after five years say they’ve achieved their goals.
The company recently took part in the NAIDOC Week celebrations in Port Pirie and say the RAP was put in place to increase their Aboriginal staffing numbers and clientele, but also build relationships with the community.
Uniting Country SA worked with DS Consulting, along with their current staff and clients, to create goals that are measurable but also long lasting.
One of their goals is to learn from their Aboriginal colleagues and communities to create respect and understanding in our workforce.
