Aboriginal students in the Mid North recently took part in two workshops aimed at furthering their education and training during an expo at Port Pirie’s TafeSA campus.
More than 60 students from four high schools around the region were put through their paces with machinery operations as well as work and education pathways.
A three-day workshop was held in Port Pirie aimed at giving students a hands-on view of the operations of machinery at an industry standard.
While the SACE Aboriginal Student Pathways Roadshow took the students through future study options as well as training and job options post high school.
