Maitland Ambulance Volunteers Running for a Good Cause

A group of SA Ambulance Service volunteers from Maitland, are running for a reason this weekend at the City to Bay. The volunteers are aiming to raise $2,000 for the Royal Flying Doctors Service.

Beginning the tradition last year, the volunteers aim to be proactive in supporting charities that are of meaning to the team.

Previously raising $1,300 for the Cancer Council, this year’s inspiration for the chosen charity is due to the passing of team member Greg Twelvetrees’s wife Sue. The charity is one she would have approved of as the RFDS was close to her heart.

The team only need another $500 to reach their target!
