Regional South Australian’s can now apply for the ‘Building Better Regions Fund’ under the Community Investments Stream, which aims to support projects that benefit drought-affected areas.

Grants between $5,000 and $1 million dollars are available to cover upwards of 50% of the eligible projects total costs.

Smaller projects valued at less than $20,000 dollars, are eligible for funding that covers the total project costs, with all projects required to deliver economic and social benefits to a regional or remote community.

A total of $200 million dollars is available to fund new or expanded local events and strategic regional plans, along with leadership strengthening activities.
