14-year-old Yorke Peninsula local Jordan Tilbrook has been selected to represent South Australia at the National Cricket Championships.
Jordan is the only player from the Yorke Peninsula in the team of 14, heading to Ballarat to fight for the championship title next month.
Jordan splits his time between the Glenelg Cricket Club and the Honiton Cricket Club in Edithburgh on the weekends, whilst heading to Adelaide for weekly state training sessions with coach Shannon Tubbs.
Jordan has gone from strength to strength, recently scoring his first hat trick this week playing for Glenelg Cricket in the Under 17 Shield competition against Sturt.
The SA National team will head to Ballarat for the championships that are taking place from the 20th till 27th of February.
