In response to the Prime Minister’s announcement on March 24th, regarding restrictions around non-essential domestic travel, Yorke Peninsula Council Holiday Parks, are adjusting their services.
Parks will only remain open to provide an ‘essential’ service to those in need, with the appropriate safety precautions in place.
As per the Government guidelines – ‘essential travel’ is described as per the following:
- necessary activities for work purposes,
- essential accommodation while stopping at one location during a current road trip,
- travel on compassionate grounds, and
- travel required to return to your place of residence.
Those with ‘non-essential bookings’ within the next 60 days, will need to contact the caravan park they made the booking with to discuss future arrangements.
Other Caravan Parks that were contacted across the region are not making adjustments to bookings at this point in time but are adjusting their regulations accordingly
