Yorke Peninsula Field Days slider

The Yorke Peninsula Field Days are acknowledged as the oldest in Australia with the first trial held near Bute, SA, on July 31st 1895.

This year presents the many changes in agriculture from early photos of trials in years gone by and the improvements and technology that has improved production and lifestyle of farming in Australia.

Organised by members of the Paskeville Agricultural Bureau attractions in the Robert Bawden Museum include early photos, cameras and other memorabilia; a Yellow Brick Road stop for children, large engines and tools of yesteryear. 

On the Western end of the field days site will be the Vintage section of motors, trucks, ploughs, strippers, winnower, grain cleaner and many other interesting memorabilia.  Miniature trains and a shed with many working models and a collection of model race cars made of wood.

Many patrons will come from all across South Australia to display their pride & passion. This year will be supported by the South Hummocks Agricultural Bureau, CCROME Club, Gawler Restoration, Clare Valley Model Engineers, Adelaide Hills Restoration, Commercial Motor Vehicles Club, Farm Shed National Trust Museum Kadina and Northern Automobile Restoration Club.  Other special guests and miniature working models will also be featured.

General Admission Opening Times:

Gates will be open for the General Public from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm each day

General Admission Entry Passes: Available at all entrance gates – CASH SALES ONLY

General Admission Costs (no concessions)

  • Adult One-day Pass $15.00
  • Adult Three-day Pass $35.00
  • Child One-day Pass $ 3.00 (5 – 15 years)

Displays and demonstrations include:

Cropping trials, working sheep dogs, wool and sheep, farm machinery and equipment, tools and accessories, rural buildings and automotive.

The event offers a variety of displays designed to be of interest to both rural and urban families.

Displays and demonstrations include:
