After moving out of the ICU last week and recovering in a ward, Port Germein Brevet Sergant Ian Todd has officially been released from hospital.

The release follows a tense couple of weeks after the officer received life threatening critical injuries on the 3rd May responding to what is believed to be a domestic complaint about the attacker, Sean Ferris‘, Dog.

Todd was stabbed in the neck, arm and hands and flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, placed in an
induced coma after arterial repair surgery.

Brevet Sergeant Jordan Allely, officer in charge of Crystal Brook, suffered stab wounds to his right leg and arm and was discharged from hospital the day after the incident.

A statement released by police said that Mr Todd, 53, left the hospital Monday night and is with family recovering at home.
