Emergency services attended the scene of a cattle truck rollover at Burra yesterday morning.
The truck, carrying a load of livestock, crashed into the front verandah of a house on Ludgvan Street.
The driver, a 43-year-old Clare Valley man, was extricated from the truck and taken to the Burra Hospital with minor injuries.
Motorists are advised keep an eye out for straying cattle, who may be distressed and/or injured.
Sadly, some were injured in the crash and were euthanised at the scene.
The road remained closed for several hours while the scene was cleared and a tow truck organised for the heavy vehicle retrieval.
