Crime Stoppers SA has launched an End of Financial Year donation campaign with the goal of raising $20,000 to combat crime in regional and remote communities across the state.
The organization, which has been operating as a trusted charity in the state for over 25 years, is calling on businesses and individuals to contribute to its fundraising target.
Nigel Smart, CEO of Crime Stoppers SA, emphasized the impact that every dollar donated can have in making a real difference in addressing crime.
The funds raised will be used to implement a state-wide campaign in collaboration with the police, industry partners, and regional communities to tackle country crime.
The campaign aims to address the high level of planning and organization exhibited by repeat offenders in rural areas, particularly in relation to livestock and farm equipment theft.
